N-POWER: FG Gives Update On Backlogs, Device, Exit Plan For Outgoing Volunteers, Condemns Reapplications
The Federal Government has given an update about numerous questions asked by the outgoing N-power beneficiaries on the exit plan, backlogs, collection of device and reapplying for the ongoing batch C.
Sending a strong warning through the office of Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management to the outgoing N-power Batch A and B volunteers who intended to register in the ongoing registration for batch C as beneficiary, Federal government revealed that any volunteers who register would not be transitioned and will also be deactivated from the programme.
Responding to a question raised during press briefing, humanitarians affairs minister said, “We will deactivate your account from the data base and blacklist your BVN during verification. Batch A and B are not to congest the website for application meant for other batches, we have previous data of all Batch A and B volunteers, as we speak, we are transiting them into various opportunities.
“In few days to come, the transition will be made clear and preparation to redeploy volunteers would commence.”

Federal government added that, psychometric assessment will take effect immediately after batch C registration ends.
“We received some applications from already existing volunteers, they are on their way out, their accounts in our data will be deactivated and blacklisted such account. Not only will they be deactivated but they have lost the chance of being transition, our psychometric assessment will hold immediately after batch C registration.
“To our Batch A and B beneficiaries, we have seen your questions on the exit plan, backlogs and devices.
