Ede South Boss, Afolabi Breaks Silence, Says I’m On The Same Page With Osun Assembly
After the news of his suspention and reinstatement by the Osun State House of Assembly, Chairman of Ede South Local Government, Osun state, Hon. Lukman Afolabi has dismissed reports of discord between him and the speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Adewale Egbedun.
In a release signed on Friday and made available to the OsunReporters News, Afolabi reafirmed his smooth relationship with honorable members of the hallow chamber in supporting Governor Ademola Adeleke on his endless efforts to keep accelerating development of the state.
Afolabi popularly known as ‘Abere Soose’ who doubles as Secretary of the state chapter for the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, lauded the supervisory role of the state assembly on local government administrations of the state, adding that he is committed to the mandate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in ensuring that dividends of democracy get to citizens at the grassroots in his local government area.
According to him, “My relationship with Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Adewale Egbedun remains firm.
“I am on the same page with all honourable members of the hallow chamber in supporting His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke on his giant stride to improve Osun human and capital development. I enjoin all members of our great party not to allow enemies to create discord between us, our political office leaders and party executives at all levels,” Afolabi said.
