EID-EL-FITR: Titi Laoye-Ponnle rejoices with Muslims, calls for support of Oyetola’s re-election bid

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Osun and convener of the Titi Ponnle Progressive Movement (TPPM), Otunba (Mrs) Titilayo Laoye-Ponnle has felicitated with Muslims on the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fast in 2022 and urged them to let the lessons learnt during the period continue to reflect in them.

In an Eid-el Fitr message signed by the Osogbo grassroots politician and made available to the OSUNREPORTERS NEWS in Osogbo, explained that the lessons of self restraint, sacrifice, charity, fear of Allah, devotion and love of mankind imbibed during the period must continue all year round.

She used the opportunity to canvas for support of the Osun residents towards the re-election bid of Government Adegboyega Oyetola.

According to her; “I felicitate with Muslims on the successful completion of this year Ramadan, I urge them to let the lessons learnt during the period continue to reflect in them.

“As the nation and Osun in particular is on the march to full political activities, I appeal to all stakeholders to play the game with fear of God and be fair to all concerned with the hope that all shall give account of their deeds on the day of reckoning.

“I urged all Osun residents to continue supporting the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his re-election bid to move the state forward. We should also pray fervently to God, for peace, security and well-being of Nigerians and the country as against cursing the leaders.

“May Nigeria continue to grow from strength to strength, guide our leaders aright and let the followers too do the right thing,” Titi Laoye-Ponnle added.
