JUST IN: Ondo Senator Appoints 46 Nonstatutory Aides To Create Employment

Senator Nicholas Tofowomo of Ondo South Senatorial District has announced the appointments of 46 nonstatutory sides. Says, the take-home of the least of them will be more than the salary of a newly employed level 9 officer in a state civil service

In a Statement on Wednesday by his Media Aide, Akinrinlola Olumide, Senator Nicholas Tofowomo of Ondo South, has appointed 46 Peoples from across six Local Governments of his Senatorial district as non statutory Aides.

The Senator who promised to appoint more Aides, said he has dedicated 40% of his salary to create employment and reduce poverty in line with his electoral promises during campaign.

Senator Tofowomo also said the take-home of the least of the appointees is going to be more than the salary of a newly employed level 9 officer in a state civil service.

The full statement reads:

”I am directed by distinguished Senator Nicholas Tofowomo of Ondo South to announce the appointments of the following non statutory Aides.

Personal Assistants

1. Abilawon Bukola (Personal Assistant on Okitipupa LG)

2. Albert Oluwambe ( Personal Assistant on Irele LG)

3. Femi Ogunleye ( Personal Assistant on Odigbo LG)

4. Bodunwa Felix (Personal Assistant on Ese Odo LG)

5. Segun Akinbulejo (Personal Assistant on Ilaje LG)

Special Assistants

1. Mr. Olumide Ewi (Special Assistant contact and mobilisation – Okitipupa LG)

2. Duro Olatuyi (Special Assistant special duties – Ilaje)

3. Obanor Rotimi (Sepecial Assistant contact and mobilisation-Irele LG)

The least paid among the appointees will earn a salary better than the take-home of a newly employed level 9 officer in a state civil service.

All the appointments take effect from August 1, 2019.
