Tension In Erijiyan As Man Kills Àmòtékùn Officer With Club In Ekiti

As reported by Roundoffnews, pandemonium broke out on Sunday afternoon in Erijiyan Ekiti, in Ekiti West Local Government as a man known as Kehinde Awosusi was said to have murdered a motorcyclist.

Some youths of the community who were angered by the development went on rampage destroying houses and attacking innocent people, while members of the community were seen running helter skelter for their lives.

Trouble started after the deceased who was riding a motorcycle slightly hit a woman at Erijiyan.

According to the report, the motorcyclist stopped to assist the victim but she insisted on calling her son on the phone to notify him about the incident.

On getting to the spot, the son of the woman Kehinde Awosusi was alleged to have carried a heavy stick and hit the motorcyclist on his head.

The man who is a member of the Western Nigeria Security Network known as Amotekun was drenched in blood and gave up while he was being rushed to the hospital.

As at the time of filling this report, the alleged murderer and his mother have been arrested by the police for further investigation.
